Introduction

Fortress Hub is a competitive airline game for three or four players. Build a profitable airline by acquiring gates, connecting airports with routes, and turning your cash into dividends. Reaching 10 dividends triggers the finish at Reset; the victory ranking determines which eligible airline wins.

The game is played on the Route Atlas. The Atlas shows the six shared airports, their gates, and every airline's route network. Every player can inspect the same board, financials, and action history. Choices submitted simultaneously and future regulatory cards remain hidden until the game reveals them.

The objective

Grow an airline that can keep its gates maintained while generating enough cash to pay dividends. Routes earn operating profit based on the size of their endpoints, competition on that airport pair, and the strength of your network. Gates cost maintenance whether they are assigned to a route or unused.

The round

Each round has seven phases, always in this order:

1. Airline Development

   : acquire gates, launch or close routes, trade, or pass.

2. Airport Expansion

   : enlarge one eligible airport.

3. Airline Operations

   : settle route operating profit and gate maintenance.

4. Regulatory Action

   : receive a subsidy or lobby on the current regulation.

5. Taxes

   : pay tax on cash above the active threshold.

6. Capital Markets

   : choose how many dividends to buy.

7. Reset

   : resolve victory, bankruptcy, turn order, and the next round.

Players and game length

Fortress Hub supports three or four players. Four-player games use the full starting setup; three-player games use a separate starting allocation. A typical game takes about 90–150 minutes, and an online game can be resumed later from the Terminal.
